I am a 30-year-old architect and a city councillor (The Greens) living in Karjasilta, Oulu. I am a candidate in municipal elections that will be held on 9 April 2017. On that day 67 persons will be elected to the city council to decide about the matters of our city. I was elected as a city councillor first time in 2012 and have been working as a member of city executive board for four and half years and as a spokesperson of green council group for the past two years.
Municipal Elections 2017
These municipal elections point the direction for Finland. Education, the base of our welfare state, has been weakened enough – it’s time to stop these cuts. Society should offer everyone a chance for a good life. Voting for The Greens signals that you want Finland to have a respecting and caring future. The Greens have a real chance to become one of the important political parties in Oulu. The Greens want to build a city that gives hope for a better future – for everyone in Oulu.
ELECTIONS PROGRAM: OULU IS YOURS
I wish to continue my work in the city council for a more equal and more attractive Oulu. I want to be building Oulu which offers opportunities for learning and developing – a city, which lifts people. Oulu which makes it easy to choose green products and services. Oulu which doesn’t forget the lonely. Oulu which promises everyone hobbies and activities near them. Oulu which hears people about decisions important to their life. An equal and open Oulu which we can be proud of. Oulu which is yours. All of ours. Join us! Join the campaign, tell your friends, vote on the 9th of April or in advance. Your Oulu is done together!
